Unless otherwise noted, All pieces are food, dishwasher, and microwave safe, however it is always better to hand wash, as many detergents formulated for automatic dishwashers contain a fine abrasive which will, over time, fog and dull the glaze finish.

This series is handpainted, using black underglaze on white clay or porcelain. I was equally inspired by sound waves and Japanese brush painting. Some pieces are left matte on the outside, and some I have covered in a clear glaze which brings out more grey tones. They are all clear glazed on the inside to make cleaning easier, and reduce staining.
Inspired by my time spent in the California desert, Sky is simple, raw and startlingly bright, like the sky over Giant Rock, in the Mohave Desert. Aruba, Outer Banks of North Carolina, Isla Mujeres, Salton Sea. All watery places with varying degrees of salinity and hue, and each with memories of great inspiration. Sea is my beach glass, my swimming along side reef squid, my early morning childhood searches for pelicans and dolphins,
Tone on tone creates unexpected depth in this very modern series. Clean lines and rich matte black underglaze with a kiss of high gloss, these pieces are inspired by all that is simple, yet complex and layered, in dark rock. (or 'metal' as it were) Horns up my friends!
